Amber sunlight filters unto the cabin
like a stage well lite
against the grey black drunken sky

Dancing hardwoods
leanning against the cabin
like arching ballerinas
out over the lake

soft frozen snow
line after line of
dark fur and pine swaying
like chorus girls
in winter winds

White specks of snows break through the amber light
